The Optoma TW610STi is designed with multitude of features to meet the demands in schools, colleges and businesses. The Projectorector combines excellent brightness, resolution and contrast with interactive capabilities and a short throw design to create a flexible and powerful Projectorector. Native WXGA resolution delivers widescreen images for compelling image presentation, while 3100 ANSI Lumens brightness and 3000:1 contrast ratio ensure crystal clarity and consistent quality for both text and images. The Projectorector, which weighs 6.9 pounds, is perfect for wall or ceiling mount installations. Key benefits: Interact with the Projectorected image while at the screen or from a distance with the included PointBlank pen – No wires or calibration required Create big images in small rooms – Short throw design is ideal for classrooms and meeting rooms Raise student engagement and test scores with DLP 3D Ready Projectorection Control the Projectorector easily over the network to streamline administration Put Punch in Lessons with Interactivity The TW610STi combines Optoma’s existing TW610STi short throw Projectorectors with a PointBlank 2.0 interactive pen from Texas Instruments. This feature allows educators and businesses to create an interactive presentation environment without the cost and complexity of installing an interactive whiteboard. The interactive capabilities allow educators to turn any surface into an engaging, collaborative workspace without capital investment in additional equipment. The pen requires no calibration for easy and immediate use. Better, teachers are un-tethered from the screen, since the interactive pen allows users to interact with displayed applications (PC or Mac) from anywhere in the room. Short Throw Advantage The short throw design allows for larger Projectorected images at shorter throw distance. This makes these units ideal for use even in small rooms, since the Projectorector can create a full size image (up to 222 inches) when placed as little as 1.3 feet from the wall. Presenters no longer have to worry about blocking out the Projectorections with their own shadow when standing at the front of the room—an ongoing concern when using a standard throw Projectorector. The short throw design also takes any fan noise and heat exhaust away from the audience, eliminates the clutter or long-running cables and takes the presenter away from glare of the Projectorector’s lamp. Enhance Education with 3D This Projectorector gives organizations a path to integrate 3D capabilities over time to future proof their technology investment. Users can unlock 3D operation in up to 720p resolutions by connecting the Projectorector to a computer with a compatible 3D graphics card and adding active LCD shutter glasses. 3D capabilities bring complex materials alive and help students retain the data better. A recent study of over 1,000 students by JTM Concepts Inc. confirms that the average test scores increase more than 35 percent when DLP 3D technology (as is integrated in Optoma’s interactive short throw Projectorectors) is implemented in the classroom.
